I have always been an “ad reader.” For years I have read every publication that came to me, scouring and devouring each and every ad and article. That is why, when I opened my business, Parkland Pilates, there was not a moment of doubt as to where I would advertise. In my opinion, your magazine is the very top publication in the entire Coral Springs and Parkland areas. I have been advertising with you since I opened my business two years ago. I was moved to write you at this time because of all the hard work and effort that went into the design of my new ad for January. The outstanding service that was provided to me by the Parkland Life team was outstanding. Specifically, the fabulous ad in the January issue needs to be credited to one very special person on your staff, Linda McFarlane. She worked numerous hours, going above and beyond to create to perfection, the most wonderful ad. Her creativity, guidance, hard work, and patience is sincerely appreciated. I look forward to a continued business relationship with you in the years to come.

March was my first time as an advertiser with Coconut Creek Life Magazine. I have been working with my representative, Mindy Zwerin, for the past few months. We worked together with my home office to create an ad that would be a great addition to your publication. And as a result, I have received a number of phone calls to inquire about financing and refinancing their home mortgages! I am currently working on several of their final packages. Thank you so much for helping me. You have a beautiful publication that I am so proud to be a part of. I am a local business located in the Coral Springs/Coconut Creek vicinity. You have helped me feel not just a connection with this community; but a satisfied advertiser as well. Thank-you for making me feel special. We still can’t believe how many people read our restaurant review in Parkland Life and came out to try our Thai food and new Sushi bar. We were so excited to see so many new faces. Unfortunately, we did not properly anticipate the demand in terms of our staffing from this coverage. (This magazine worked beyond what we ever anticipated.) Because of that, some of you who visited during this time did not experience the true quality of food and service that has been our hallmark for nearly 20 years in this location. We sincerely apologize and honestly hope that you will please give us another try. Please show our ad when you come in and we’ll give you a free glass of wine as our thanks for your patience during our growing pains. We promise, you’ll get the dining experience you came for— and that the magazine touted!

I want to encourage your advertisers and potential advertisers to be patient and work with their sales reps before giving up on the magazine. I began with 1/6 page ad which I had personally designed but didn't get a response. When I spoke with Rhonda (Rosenof, PL Account Manager) about it, she pointed out that the ad was very dark and people had to look at it very closely to even realize what service I was offering. She pointed out the design and the size of the ad. Therefore, I bit the bullet and went for the ½-page size to give me more space to work with as well as to change the ad design. She also encouraged me to write informational articles, which I did. The difference has been amazing. The ½-page size gives me great placement and people are seeing my ads and calling. I now realize that Parkland Life does not always create "instant results" for advertisers, but for those who stick with it and work with their rep to maximize their exposure and re-evaluate their strategy as necessary, the results will definitely be worth it in the end!
